New Long-distance lover's cup!
Jackie Lee and Hyemin Chung of MIT Media Lab have a great project called Lover’s Cups, a wireless-enabled pair of drinking glasses. Each cup can tell when someone is drinking from the other; when both are being used they glow to “celebrate this virtual kiss”.

This is crazy, lol, i think i'd use it but i don't know how ground breaking it is, but its pretty neat and would be cute for a gift when one part of a couple was leaving for a while, i think it'd be cute a new way of saying "i miss you" with technology.
i guess that's my two scents,
